I’m Larry: full-time software engineer, part-time philosopher, and mediocre cyclist.

During the day, I work on cloud-native infrastructure and distributed systems. In the evening, I’m on my bike (nicknamed Ferrari), or with a book, or both.

This blog is where I think out loud as a pessimistic optimist: someone who thinks through what could go wrong, plans for it, and then gets on with it.
